The New York Jets were among a handful of teams not to sign free agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha. There are those that say the the Jets will not win a spot as the AFC representative in the Super Bowl because of this. I say poppycock! The Jets were one bad half of football away from facing Green Bay in the NFL championship game. The Jet defense which allowed 24 points in the first half of the game, shut the Steelers out during the second half. All this without Asomugha. There are many ways to view this, but I don't think the Jets are afraid of anyone in the AFC, including the Patriots. Is Ochocinco such an upgrade that New England is now the odds on favorite to win it all? I remember that Randy Moss was going to lead the charge against the Jets. How did that work out? Individual success did not add up to a victory. We will see how this all works out, but if someone has an axe to grind due to the Jets and their talking, they should bring something else to the table, rather than present us with failure due to not signing a free agent.
Did Albert Haynesworth fail a conditioning test? Is anyone surprised?
Will Kevin Kolb lead the Arizona Cardinals to the playoffs? They probably won't get past the Seattle Seahawks for the division, much less make the postseason.
Brad Smith to the Buffalo Bills? Was that because his agent told him there's a better chance to win there?
